Pixie gave him a filthy look as she sneered "No, they won't work, because you made them. That's not how they work, stupid demon,"

Lou looked hurt, trying to hug her. "Then I'll teach you how to make them. Will they work then?" he patted the scar tissue, then kissed the stumps, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry.." his tail stretched across her lap and he handed her a knife. "Go ahead, I deserve it."

Pixie just stared at him, mouth half-open. After a long pause, she gave a short laugh and walked downstairs, slightly unsteady without her wings to balance her.

Lou frowned, then cut his own tail off, leaving it on her bed and poofing home to stop the bleeding.


Orchid woke up, rubbing her eyes. "Hello.."she mumbled, her eyes drooping.

Pixie sighed, pouring herself a glass of red wine and sitting on the coffee table "Hello."

Orchid smiled, giving her a hug. "It'll be okay... I'm sure of it." she said softly, taking the wine away and getting her a small piece of bread. "Eat something."

Pixie frowned slightly "Firstly, I'd prefer it if you stopped with the... spontaneous embraces. I dislike being touched at the best of times. Second, I do not possess the ability to eat. Neither do I sleep, for that matter. And thirdly, I am as old as time itself. I do not need somebody to monitor my alcohol consumption." she incinerated the bread contemptuously.

Orchid pulled back,looking hurt. "I was just trying to help.." she mumbled, moving away from he with a huff. She curled up at the other end of the couch with a blanket, closing her eyes and relaxing.


Lou was shivering in his room, the small stump where his tail was was burned looking, ugly blisters popping up.

Pixie watched her uninvited houseguest for a few seconds before sitting back on the coffee table and toying with her wine glass.

Orchid fell asleep again, curled up with her hair over her face.


Lou squirmed on his bed, trying to get comfy

Pixie whistled to herself, bored. She knew better than to summon Cornelius before the Garde was finished with him, so she just had to wait.

Orchid rolled off thecouchbwith a thump, shrieking as she woke.


Lou poofed to pixies house, knocking on the door

Pixie snorted and clapped delightedly then gestured, a purple tendril opening the door.

Orchid scowled, picking herself off the floor.


Lou slowly walked in, stumbling slightly. "Pixie?" He stopped in the doorway, looking nervous. "I... Uh..." He walks over to her, laying a hand on her shoulder.

Pixie slowly looked from his face to his hand on her shoulder, her brows furrowed.

Lou removed his hand, pouting. "Sorry.."

Pixie nodded once in acknowledgement and returned to her spot on the table.

Lou watched her with a smile, then saw Orchid and grinned evilly at her, making Orchid whimper and hide behind the couch

Pixie cleared her throat loudly then said sharply "If you intend to intimidate my guest and be generally unpleasant, then you'd do well to leave before I lodge my knife between your shoulder blades, or perhaps somewhere more painful." There was no subtle threat in her voice and she stared at him blatantly.

Lou scowled, twisting his scars out if shape. "I highly doubt you could hurt me anymore tHan I've hurt myself." He mutted, dragging a screaming Orchid out and setting her upright. Orchid fell over making Lou roll his eyes and pick her up again. "This time, don't fall." Orchid squeaked, her eyes huge.

Pixie glared at him "It appears that you did not heed my warning. Do you wish to be expelled from my home?"

Lou frowned "I was picking her up... I'm not trying to scare her.." Orchd darted upstairs, crossing herself and praying. Lou grumbled, sitting down beside Pixie with a wince. "Ahhh.." he hissed in pain, getting back up.

Pixie rolled her eyes "Show me what you've done..."

Lou shook his head stubbornly, crossing his arms over his chest. "No. I haven't done anything."
