Cornelius shrugged, the movement careful and well practiced "I cannot see any catch."

Delilah closed her eyes, rubbing the faint frown lines starting to appear between her eyebrows.

Orchid's screams echoed around the town.

Lou sighed, rolling his eyes. "Fine. I'll help. You ever gotten drunk? That's your first task."


Misah nuzzled into her neck, smiling.

Pixie looked conflicted, tearing her gaze away from Delilah and Misah before poofing to Orchid.


Cornelius shook his head "No, I have not. Should I do so now?"


Delilah pulled away, making sure Taquin wasn't squished.

Orchid was rocking back and forth, trembling as she stared, wide eyes at Edward's corpse. "I want him back!"she wailed, slamming her head backwards into the wall.


Lou laughed, slapping him on the back. "Come on, I'll help you."


Misah frowned "De-li-lah?" Taquin drooled

Pixie watched the scene with a hint of concern, taking everything in.


Cornelius flinched then nodded, looking uneasy.


Delilah nodded vaguely.

Orchid whimpered, biting her lip. "What happened? Why don't I remember anything?!"


Lou grinned, poofing away and coming back with a bottle of vodka. "Here, try it."


Misah cupped her face, stroking her cheek. "What wrong?"

Pixie sighed "I do not know. Come, you would do well to leave this house." she offered Orchid her hand.


Cornelius took the bottle from him, taking a few seconds to work out how to unscrew the cap, and sniffed it tentatively.


Delilah looked away.

Orchid took her hand, trembling. "Did he die at the same time I did?"


Lou grinned "just try it. You'll like it."


Misah scowled, kissing her gently

Pixie gently led her outside before responding "I cannot say I know anything about how death relates to this realm."


Cornelius took a large mouthful and swallowed, his indigo eyes widening as it seared down his throat.


Delilah gave Taquin to her and sighed.

Orchid leaned against her heavily. "I had children... A husband.. I finally had the perfect life after searching for it for 200 years.. Why did I have to die again?"


Lou grinned "It burns at first, just don't cough it back up, that hurts worse."


Misah frowned, "De-li-lah? What is wrong?! Tell me!"

Pixie took the girl inside and sat her on the couch, flying upstairs to grab a blanket from her bed before poofing back down.


Cornelius said hoarsely "That hurt. Why do you do this?"


Delilah said flatly "I wish I was still dead."

Orchid stared at her blood caked hands, scraping at the dried blood.


Lou shrugged, "It makes the voices stop. You learn to live with the pain. You want to try wine instead?"


Misah staggered back. "W-what?! But you have me and Taquin!"

Pixie put the blanket around Orchid's shoulders and perched on the arm of the couch, toying with the frayed hem of her skirt.


Cornelius said hesitantly "I feel that perhaps you are incorrect about this."


Delilah shook her head "I'm sorry."

Orchid hugged a pillow, crying herself to sleep.


Lou smiled slightly "Maybe I am.. Um.. Let's see.. what do humans do.. You ever had sex?"


Misah held back tears, looking shocked. "De-li-lah? What you saying?"

Pixie watched her, marvelling at humans' capacity for grief.


Cornelius stared at him "No. No, I have not."


Delilah gave her a quick hug.

Orchid whimpered Edward's name in her sleep, turning over and pressing her face into the pillow



Lou looked shocked. "Wow... I can fix that.." he darted overto an old gravestone and pulled a skeleton up, muscle and skin forming over the bones to form a petite, tanned girl with short blonde hair, her blue eyes flickering with a strange white light. "There have sex with her, I think her names.." he paused reading the gravestone. "Wendy... I can't read her last name." Lou shoved Wendy towards Cornelius.


Misah started crying, almost dropping Taquin

Pixie looked exhausted, but couldn't bring herself to take energy from Orchid.


Cornelius moved away from Wendy uncertainly.


Delilah made sure Misah kept ahold of Taquin, kissing his cheek.

Orchid woke up screaming, her hands searching for Edward until she remembered he was dead. "Edward!" she trembled violently, her teeth chattering and her eyes huge, taking everything in. "If he's dead too, then why isn't he like us? Talking and walking around? Why is he so cold? He never cold.. Always so warm.." she mumbled through white lips.


Wendy looked terrified, adjusting her short skirt and her tiny tank top to cover more of her skin. Lou sighed "Cornelius, you want to. Be more human right?" Lou stepped closer to him, looking into his eyes. "It's either her or me. Humans have sex. A lot." he grinned, brushing his lips across Cornelius' "So, who's it going to be. You might a get a few diseases if you choose Wendy.." Lou whispered, giving Cornelius a soft kiss.


Misah shoved Delilah away, screaming in her native tongue. "Alenteÿa! Gįrunqutoya sandonui! Fêrnjãs!" Taquin began crying, burying his head in Misah's breasts.

Pixie slid down onto the couch and put her arms around the girl, stroking her hair and murmuring "Shh... Perhaps he is in a better place now. I feel you should not be living alone for a period of time, so you are welcome to stay here."


Cornelius stared up at Lou through his lashes, saying bluntly "You want me to choose you."


Delilah turned and walked away, heading into the horizon.

Orchid nodded, closing her eyes to keep the tears back. "Thank you. " she sniffled, covering her face with her hands, then burst out laughing, starting to pull her hair out.


Lou laughed, shaking his head. "No, I just want sex. I don't care who it's with."


Misah rocked Taquin, trying to quiet him as he wailed. She stared at Delilah's figure, tears running down her cheeks. "De-Li-lah.. Don't go.." she whispered softly.

Pixie quickly caught her hands, stopping her "No, stop that. You will ruin your scalp, and possibly my upholstery."


Cornelius gave a thin smile and said "I suppose that is the same for me, then."


Delilah vanished in a flicker of light.

Orchid began rocking back and forth, grabbing the front of Pixie's shirt.


Lou grinned and poofed them both to his house. "Good." He began kissing Cornelius' jaw, sucking gently on his pulse point.


Misah wailed, running after Delilah. She stopped whimpering softly and went back home, dumping Taquin on the couch and ignoring his screams

Skype won't work, I don't know why

Pixie's eyes became unfocused as she muttered "Oh, that is repellent." she poofed to Lou's house and carefully extracted Cornelius from the embrace. "Cornelius," she said chidingly, "That is not what we do. Go back to the house and... think about what you have done..?" she tailed off, then waved him away.
Cornelius walked back to the house unsteadily, weak at the knees and contending with an impressive erection.
Pixie turned to face Lou, looking at first disappointed then startled "Oh." she said simply before pulling him close for a kiss.

Lou held her close, sucking on her bottom lip. His hands rested on her hips, his tail curling around her arm. He pulled away to grin. "You could have at least let me suck him off.. I feel bad now.." He nuzzled into her neck.

Orchid whimpered, her eyes blank. She stared at Cornelius when he walked in. "You.. You're the one who found me.." She mumbled, getting up and walking over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Misah closed her eyes then grabbed Taquin, throwing him against the wall. Taquin hit the wall with a sickening thud and he slid down, leaving a smear of blood. Misah picked him up and walked to the roof, jumping off. Her neck snapped as she hit the ground, taquins faint wails ringing out.
